Shoot. North pole moved again. Better call Google, tell 'em to recalibrate the North American satellite...

WOW GPS Coordinates. I know its a public lake and all. But my feelings are hurt. I felt really special when Fishboy Frank took me by there for a little fishing on one of his little honey holes. It was all I could do not to open my I phone and click on my Navionics application and snag that little puppy. I mentioned Hybrid Heights in a post a few weeks ago. Another guy sent me a PM for the location. I tried to give him the landmarks to find it, but it was pretty lame. If Frank hadn't taken me by there I wouldn't have ever found it.

Time on the water and doing your research would help.

Thats awesome! Now you can do what the rest of us have done and get a navionics chip and do some research on the water. and if you have the Structure scan, youll find just about every other honey hole on the water. TOW is what its all about, and now that youve upgraded electronics itll cut your research time in half

Ultralite you are right on, I have only had my hummingbirds a couple of weeks, but the information is incredible. I have been busy mapping out all of my favorite spots. Nothing replaces time on water.

Its great isnt it! Everyone might also want to mark those pipes in the middle of the lake near robertson point as well. I spent about 10 minutes idling up to the 5 or so pipes and marked them with a skull and cross bones on my HB that way if youre caught out late or some jackwagon tries to pull the markers down, you dont have to worry about running into them.

I am so new to the electronics I didn't know about those types of markers. Gotta hit the tutorials.

Gps coordinates don't hurt anybody. That's a community hole anyways....like asking where the peanut is at.

Sorry, I was saying my feelings were hurt "in fun". Like I said it is a public lake. You are absolutely right.

Paul-Let's be honest here. When did you come to find out about HH? It was last Spring when you came by when I was fishing on it with Jackson in my boat. It wasn't a known community hole like The Peanut... I fished it for 20-years and saw maybe three other boats in that time span. My father in law showed it to me years ago. I named it Hybrid Heights way back then. Everyone has honey holes. That's what that place was. I'm all about sharing that was just one of those places I always fell back on. Moving on.

Sorry Paul, I have to agree with Frank here!! I fished Hubbard a lot up to 2 years ago!! I fished no less than 4-5 days a week!! I had never seen anyone fishing it or anyone mention HH until Frank did last year!! I found it only after I ran into a fellow TFFer fishing it last year!! I have noticed more and more people fishing it but nothing compared to what we will see over the next 6 months!!

How can you say GPS coordinates don't hurt....? How about posting your good honey hole coordinates in the trees??

Sorry, I just think that was very inconsiderate to Frank!!

I'm off my soap now!!

Good Fishing To Ya,
Ruben

The way to communicate with the fish is to drop them a line.
To argue on a fishing boat is to have de bait.
