Met Jig Master for the first time Saturday and i sure had a blast fishing with that young blood. He said he had never fished pylons before and he did have a bit of trouble in the beginning, but once he got the hang of it, IT WAS ON! Once he landed his first fish it was my turn to sit there and be amazed at how many he put in the cooler in a matter of 30 minutes or so. That guy has patience like no one i have ever seen! Never complained once or got frustrated, he just smiled and laughed the whole time. Thanks for a GREAT day of fishing Craig. According to him, we caught a one man limit along with a couple of catfish. The fish were very scattered and the bite was so lite we spent most of the day line watching. they did hit it on the fall every now and then. Mostly the line would very slightly move or slack up a bit. If you tried to wait for the fish to take it you were to late. Had to be fast on the hook set or they were gone. they didn't start really biting til some time between 12 and 1. they were in 15-20ft of water 4-6 cranks off the bottom. Jig Master found the jig color for the day it was red-chart/chart/cerise with white pearl flash.

Somedays they just slide up behind that jig and take it extra lightly. Nice report.

Nice! I too was out there Sat. with a group from work, same story along with some catfish! Them cats were a bit busy. There were jug lines all over the southside of the lake. Saw a lot of boats drift fishing so i guess they were after the kittys as well.

We fished sat. as well. I had a hard time teaching the clients to watch for the "lite bite". So I just started watching their lines and yelling "FISH" when they would get a strike. At first they all would yank the lips off the fish so I had to quit yelling so loud. We had a blast, Boated 41 Keepers. www.thecrappieking.com

Said hello to ya on the boat ramp last weekend. We were dropping in as you were getting everything loaded up to leave. We were in the black and white SeaArk.

I just thought I was the jig master till I hooked up with the pro Saturday texboxer the jig maker/master . I think you will soon have to add that to your name, "Maker". So where are the pics from Saturdays catch? These guys on here are pretty hardcore and pics seem to calm them down a bit.

You're very welcome. I just hope it helps someone out there like the reports helped me last year when I first started fishing for Crappie in Lake Waco after the spawn. I found them during the spawn, but afterwards i was totally lost and had no idea where to find them. But this site and an older gentleman at the boat ramp got me on them. Then came summer and again i was lost. But again a TFF'er (Tomasc) came to the rescue and showed me how to fish the bridge. So now i try to give a report hoping it helps someone out there that may be having trouble getting them in the boat.
