dosxx,
You're posting the wrong URL. Don't post the URL of the page that you can view the picture on, post the URL that is identified below the picture. So to post the pic to this topic I typed "" (without the quotes)

Dosxx, I thought that looked like the Blanco River. I've caught many a small mouth and large Guadalupe bass on those little Rebel crawfish and grasshoppers. I lived on the banks of the Blanco and Cypress creek for 25 years in Wimberley.

shoalwater, I envy you! That Blanco river is gorgeous! That was only the second time I have fished it and can't wait to do it again. I have never used the Rebel crawdad but I will definitely pick some up, on Sun I saw a crawdad at least 6 inches long scooting along the bottom. The fish weren't hitting the crickhopper like usual so I wonder if a crawdad lure would have worked better? If you have any other suggestions for fishing the Blanco I would appreciate it. Thanks! Tight lines! Dosxx

roadtrip - I'm glad you like the site. (Always nice to hear that others like it) While the site is focused on Fly Fishing, I won't mind any non fly fishing discussions....
