Idk the midget holding it makes it very hard to tell. They like to be referred to as "little" people  Would be nice to know the true weight, measurements and story behind such a huge bass. Unfortunate that information will never be know except for the Sushi chef

I just called Folsom Lake Marina in Cali to check for a possible story and they have not heard anything about this. If it is real, you would think it would be huge news out there.

She's obviously very old and carries her body mass throughout her entire length. And not much beyond the anal and soft dorsal fins. That's how giants are built. Now that little person on the other hand, looks to be less than 4.5 ft. tall. That's 54 inches. Allowing for camera angle and distance of the fish from cholo's body, that fish is no more than 27 inches and 15 pounds. The reason I said "this has been fun" can be found in the beginning of this story. Do you really believe a guy, that knows a guy, who books trips for giant bass to El Salto doesn't know what a giant lmb is? Really? "They don't know all about records so they weighed and ate it." I'll guarantee you every fisherman where there are LMB and commercial operations knows exactly what a WR LMB could mean to them, personally. And those who eat them for a living, have no idea what a "scale" is. C'mon folks. Wake up!
