Just looked at my catalog.
I like the 370....
Both are nice....really comes down to preference.
GOOD LUCK

Billy Row: Between the white caps and that filing cabinet you drag around,
sometimes it's tough to keep the boat afloat.
You do need an upgrade.

Well, I got the 360 but I'm takin it back to get the 370. All my gear won't fit. Shoulda gone with my first instinct.

I think I've got 18 or so 360 boxes that stay in my closet at home. Then when I go fishing, I pick out what I "think" I need, and put it in a big duffle bag. (2 boxes of slabs, 1 box of crappie jigs, 1 box rattle traps, etc.)

I'm thinking about starting a bunch of 370's too. I got a bunch of stuff last year that never made it into a box, it's just all loose in a big BPS shopping bag.

My problem is the accessories. Spools of line, umbrella rigs, tub of punch bait, odd ball stuff that doesn't fit a lure tray. Maybe I just need a separate bag for that too.

well we must all think a lot a like! Saturday I was at Bass Pro. they had gambler soft plastics for .99 a bag. i bought about 20 of them. great for trout at the coast, but i swung by the tackle box isle and almost picked up the xps 370, they had two on the shelf, probably have more in the warehouse, but if you guys are getting them i better go get mine tomorrow...

I liked it, but talked myself out of it and I am one who carries all sorts of stuff to the lake. I have had two Shimano bags, first one was way too small, gave it away to a buddies kid, empty of course.. Then got the bigger one, not the kangaroo bag, but the other style, the biggest they make in it. bet it weighs 50 plus too. Well it is tearing at the seems due to weight and it is almost as dry-rotted as the other one. I had it two years. Cabelas makes one, Advanced Anglers Storage Systems,, but I cannot see it, I want to look at it before i buy it, it may be too big. I really like the xps 370 and need to go look at it again and put some other 360 and 370 boxes in it to see how it will set up.

In doing so, I will keep my old shimano bag with extra stuff and load the new one with what i need and might need and a couple extra slabs etc.....not the entire stock. That is what i need...another tackle box in the garage// already looks like basspro on there.....oh well.

Funny how a lot of us are thinking the same thing..

Tx-Weeble,
I guess i will have to upgrade a little bit.

But the old thing is like a family member now.

Oh well....the 70's were a pretty good time
except for tackle boxes

I've had the Cabela's bags and they are pretty good as a soft side but you still have the wet tackle on rainy days.
I've been doing like Kelly is thinking (those yellow BPS boat bags) for the last couple of years and I have yet to have a problem of tackle getting wet (unless you forget to zip it up). They just don't hold the boxes in place like the actual tackle boxes do, but it's a compromise. (inplace vs. dry)
In my old catfish boat I have the biggest bag for my "dry storage", works great.
Good luck on finding the right box for you.
At least it's fun organizing all those bass baits.

Not to put tackle box manufacturers out of business but I went to Home Depot and bought a $5.99 tool box with a removable tray. I made sure that it was deep enough for the spinnerbait rack out of my old tackle box. I cut the rack to a size that fit into half of the bottom. I store cranks/spinner/spoons there and in the other half of the bottom is reserved for worms. The tray stores extra reels, line, needlenose, clippers, sungalsses, etc. I also have used a shipping envelope with adhesive backing and placed it on the underside of the lid. It stores and keeps dry my fishing license and whatever map I might need. I also have three smaller compartmentilized boxes that hold my worm hooks, weights and extra jigs. These are stored in the tool box also. There is a drawback to this. It's that I have to maybe change tackle depending on what lake I am fishing. But 95% of the lures in the box stay in the box. That is what I have confidence in using on any lake. I also glued a sewing tape measure on the top of the lid. Saved myself about $20 and used the savings to buy other tackle. I have been using this setup for more than 10 years now. The box is small enought to fit in most compartments when on the road.

Weeeell, I finally landed on the 370 and so far I like it pretty well. I still need to test it in actual fishing conditions though. There is the one problem...

IT WEIGHS 41 lbs!!!

Glad you like it! I am going to get one...Do they have any left at Grapevine?

I have a funny feeling that my birthday will provide a few gift certificates and one should be from BPS.

i am going to weigh my old one, bet it is over 50.......never thought about weighing it, but I will now..

I think the 370 will provide all I am looking for too.

They had a bunch of them out in the main isle right when you walk in and a few back with the other tackle boxes. I bet they still have some left. Let me know what you do for spinnerbait racks. I got 2 of the flat ones and laid them in the top compartment and then put my worm books on top of that... tight, but it fit.

thinking of getting two of them.

one for bass stuff to catch the overflow from my smaller ones and one big hard one, but another for all my striper, hybrid and sandbass stuff.

it says you can get two spinnerbait boxes in it, but i can fill that quick, i have an extra spinnerbait wrap thing i use too.

but glad you mentioned it, may have to dip into the pocket and spend some of my money with the gift certificates.
