I actually started at Hubbard Saturday morning and only caught 6 fish So I headed to my honey hole somewhere down in Texas. A storm was trying to move in on me, but it did make for some awesome sky pictures.




Oh yeah this pond is on a horse ranch too.

I did not catch as many as I wanted to, but I was able to hang a few.



Oh and since I was on Hubbard that morning chasing hybrid I had a few 4" Sassy Shads in the tackle box I decided to rig one up for LMB. I took a 3/4 weedless bass jig and removed the skirt only to replace it with a 4 inch Sassy Shad. I got to say this thing caught me some fish! You guys should try it one time it works great.

It's nice to have your own private fishin' hole.

Thanks guys. Yeah when Hubbard is kicking my rear end I like visit this pond.

I would cast in a popper or a frog.

I have before but find the pond has to much vegetation for the popper, but I do get down with the frog from time to time. Hands down in this pond the fish love red medium sized spinner baits. They just can't get enough of that lure.
