What a great way to hold a bass- suspended by four hooks with one that looks like its abut to rip out of its jaw skin.

I think being a jerk on this thread without calmly explaing the errors here isn't a great example of being a sportsman.
Great fish!!!
Next time Please remove any hooks that are in areas other then the mouth immediatly. Raising the fish by these hooks can cause excess damage and stress to the fish. Its bad enough he just got hooked, towed in and then pulled from the water where he would slowly suffocate.
No PETA member here just a lover of the outdoors!!
Again, Great Catch!!!
Enjoy glad you have a photo for memories.

agree with above. got a little irritated seeing a bass with hooks all throughout its body being suspended like that. my apologies for coming across as a jerk. as someone that fishes for bass regularly, i assumed that was common sense.

You keep all your bass suspended by four hooks until you fillet them? Now that just seems like more trouble than its worth. I probably shouldn't have made that sarcastic earlier because people on this forum seem to get butt-hurt very easily, but my point is that wildlife deserves respect/dignity regardless of whether or not its going to be consumed.
