This has been an excellent motor, until my last outing. Late in the day there was no hole shot at all. Had to get partner to go up front to get on plane. Idles smoothly and revs up fine, just no power for hole shot. Once up goes fast. Prop not spun. Usual checks all ok. Anyone with this experience / solution?

Probably lost spark on one of the plugs. Pull the plugs and see if one looks like it is washed off (clean).

Late in the day, hot and loaded can really effect the power. Try it in the morning before getting to conserned.

Check your fuel pressure and spark on all six plugs and copression. One of those will help you go in the right direction. Cary

Late in the day is the worst time for holeshot. the heat and humidity is killing everyone!
depending on the type of prop you have you may be able to "vent" the prop more for faster takeoff.

and like Cary said.. when the plugs go bad.. the holeshot is the first thing that you notice.
