After I got a hit on the serial #, I'd pay a visit with something that had the serial # filed off!

When and if they do get my guns...they will most definitely be hot and empty.

this
Lance the story I mentioned about the fishfinders stolen @ Axtons those guys eventually got caught. They had a ring going and were hitting boats in boat houses/storage facilities, and in folks yards or at hotels. They were storing all this stuff in a house some where near the lake and the house was litterally over running with fishing gear. From what I can remember, they had fishfinders, props, tackle, trolling motors, etc. I want to say it turned out to be one of the local officials son's with a drug problem spearheading the whole thing.......getting their next fix is their only concern they have absolutley zero feeling for what they are doing to friends and neighbors to get the urge for their drug of choice satisfied.
Unfortunately I've experienced this with someone I knew and was related to.........

Back in the mid 90s I kept my boat out here in storage but I still got broken into. The deputy who came out was telling me about soome they caught in Shrevport with stuff stolen here. Two guys went into a pawnshop there with couple of depthfinders and a trolling motor. They got their money and left but was talking about what casino they were going to. The pawn shop's cameras had good pictures of them so police was called and Wood Co notified. The police found them in the casino they said they were going to and they had $3,000 0n them and couldn't explain where they got it. DUH I think if I was in a casino with that kind of money I could give an explaination for it.

Ever seen "Breaking Bad"? These dopers will do anything.

Cut with her golden oars the silver stream,
And greedily devour the treacherous bait.
