Id like to get down to that area one of these days. I have done the devils trip from bakers but never been to the area near the lake.

I need to do this with some buddies, amistad is extremely low, and was considering going to bakers crossing this weekend.
Synchronized Casting, should be an Olympic event

So when is the "Devils river TFF trip"?
You know we do these GTG's a couple times a year. It would be cool to have a road trip get together where a group goes together to one of these places.

All morning I have been looking over this guide book and searching the net for livery services. Let's just say I am IN! Be careful while you are shoping around. A couple months ago there was a bad report on one I the guys guiding that area. The customer tool their own kayaks and weren't permitted to use them. The guide said he wanted to use his kayaks that turned out to be rafts. Lol! I know Shane Has a great history with making people happy. Not sure about any of the others.

In truth I was thinking on doing it myself w/o a guide. The fishing is part of it but equally interested in the adventure of the river. The getting the boats on water and having a car at the end seems to be the biggest issue.

I believe Bakers is not letting people drop in like they used too, unless you are using Bailey or someone like him for a shuttle.
