Just curious, and was looking into some downriggin gear for the boat. Seems to be the way that a lot of people are going after Hybrids/Stripers this time of year? How deep is the most common depth that you would run the rig? I know it will vary depending on where the fish are? But overall what is the Average Depth in Open water scenarios. 20, 30, 40, etc. Thanks in advance.

Between 20' and 30', works for me most times. For striper, I find my bigger fish in the 25-30 foot range.
