I dont post much but I know most people like to know what is going on here at Lake Fork so here ya go. We have had a fun summer so far as the fish are doing there usual summer thing. In the mornings there are some good ones schooling over some of the deep points. We have been catching them on Berkley Swim baits. Alot of these schools of fish are suspended and when you get the school fired up it is killer. Later in the day we have been catching them on points in 20 to 30 ft depending on the day. Most days they will be on the drop offs and usually in some brush are around the submerged trees. Most of our fish have been coming on carolina rigged Berkley Havoc worms and texas rigged 10 inch Power Worms. The Talon football jig bite has been kinda off and on but when they are on it you cant beat it. Some days the big ones will suspend up in the deep timber more. We have been pulling these fish out of those trees with the 10 inch Power Worms and the Talon spoons. The fish have been trying to school under the bridges. Some days more than others and I look for it to get better as the warmer days return. Late in the evening the best action for us has been on the points say in 12 to 18 ft of water. We are catching fish that are holding tight to the trees on the ole drop shot and also on topwaters as the fish have been schooling around the points towards the end of the day. It is some pretty good live action! I will post some pics soon .God Bless and good fishin John Tanner www.lakeforkbassguide.com
