Haven't posted since March due to me " getting my business in order" I've had heart problems since 97 and am on my 3rd pacemaker.I was finally placed on Heart Transplant list at Seton Heart in Austin so been kinda bummed out. BUT!!! This morning my 4yr old grandson woke me with "Popo, you havent taken me pishing in a long time, we need to go,so you can get better"!!! THANK YOU JESUS!..1 Corinthians 1:27 :But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. To make a long story longer. Elijah caught His first Bass,Catfish he also caught a mixed bag of Sunnies bluegill,greenies and longear.I snapped some picks but was enjoying my time with Him so much that we didnt measure any. So, "I'm Back" Enjoy the pics and please keep me in Prayer...........Thanks

It just don't get any better than that!. The good lord has blessed you with a super grandson and you made memories that are priceless. Also I will keep you in my prayers! Remember God has control!

I thank you ALL for your prayers! By the way, I actually have 16 grandkids and I've taken them all fishing at one time or another. But the youngest ( Elijah) I like to call Him Caboose! STAYS on me about taking him fishing or out to shoot his BBgun. Yes ,my daughter had a few things to say about the BBgun at 4yrs old but that seems about right age to me! OH! and ASH, yes thats the same kid in my sig. I have pics of him at the river at 2weeks old, he reeled in first fish at 1yr old, caught one on his own at 2yr old and he loves it and we fished steady up until my LVAD implant and the Pending Transplant. We hadnt been since March of this year and I guess he got tired of waiting on Me. Hence the "Slap Popo"into reality part. BUT FOR THE RECORD: "I NEVER said He was my favorite" I bought him a BBgun when he turned 4 and I could go On and On.......I think when I asked GOD for a new heart; He sent me Elijah!! You are in my prayers. This is a very good post. I could not put into words but if you read the post and look at the images you captured of this child, he is a very powerful healer.

That is one happy kid there... making a difference in a young persons life is what it is all about..
