Heading out to Proctor this weekend to do some bass fishing. Never been to that lake before so if anyone has any tips they would be greatly appreciated. Also gonna troll for hybrids

I'll tell you what I've been told..... Go on the north side of the island for hybrids. I have been working a slab off the bottom kinda like a worm. I caught a few out there that way last time I was out there. No luck trolling for me though.

havent fished the lake in a year or so but spent quite a bit of time on it when i was in college at TSU. all of the rocky points can hold fish. throw a deep crank or shaky head, there arent many lmb but they are good ones. also use your graph to find brush piles. there are tons of crappie fisherman out there and their brush piles hold good bass. good luck that lake can be fun to fish on the right day.

There has been two tourneys out there recently and neither of them were excellent weigh ins. I won the first one with one fish of 7.43. And I believe the 2nd tourney was won with less than 10 lbs. Numbers wise out of both tournaments there were only 12 fish brought to the scales, very tough fishing. But we were catching the white bass and hybrids in schools and having a blast
