21 and some change won, followed by me and partners weight, 18 and some change. Sorry, cant remember the exact weights. Big Bass 4.26 smallmouth...the smallmouth were on fire that night.

Seriously man, no one is going to tell you exactly where they were fishing or exactly what they were using. Belton gets too much pressure as it is. Just letting you know why no one was answering your questions. You just gotta go out there and put in your own time on the water. Hope this enlightens you a little.

10 fish limit? Are the results posted somewhere? I'm curious what was weighed in at 2 and what was weighed in at 8. Thinking of going this Friday night/Saturday Morning and was trying to figure if when the bite seemed better.

Caught 4 for 8.7 first half and then 5 for 9.8 lbs. second half.
Georgiaboy71- we used black and blue colored worms, jigs, and craws any where with rock banks with steep drop offs. Smallmouth bite was shallow and also had bites on the first break line. Fishing was good for us that night. I love to help out my fellow anglers, might need the favor returned some day. You reap what you sow. Good luck.

Georgiaboy...reread my post. I never said no one will help you. I said, "No One Is Going To Tell You Exactly Where They Were Fishing Or Exactly What They Were Using. Belton Gets Too Much Pressure As It Is. Helping a fellow fishermen/women out and asking for specific baits and spots is very different scenario all together. That was my point of the post. No hard feelings at all.

You are correct in your specifics peter. Belton is tough. And will break your spirit. So a day of an 18lb sack is not an easy thing. But sometimes you dont know exactly where you are as well. Just the area. But i can understand knowing and not telling if you did. Its a tough grind out there!!

Yea, me and partner won. It was a tough night, the bit was super light and that made the fishing really tough. Wind was blowing not making it any better.

Congrats man..That's a big achievement to do back to back on belton..Any Tips would help..Ive been fishing Tourneys for about six years every now and then, and have never cashed a check..Talk about a dream come true man...One day hopefully my time will come

Thought about fishing it but the time didn't work out with my schedule. Was it a big draw? How many teams fished?

We had 7 or 8 teams, we thought we would have more but had a great time anyway. Thinking about haveing another one,.maybe in Aug. Hopefully we can draw a bigger crowed next time. Any suggestions on improving the tournament?
