When ever I log in to the main page it says I am logged in. But, when i go to any forum it automatically logs me back out. i have tried over and over to stay logged in but it just keeps logging me out, after i was logged in on the main page successfully. What am I doin wrong?
Thanks for any help whatsoever.

I used to be able to "keep me logged in" like you are talking about but now the same thing happens to me so I gave up and don't check that box anymore. So, I would love the answer to that situation s well.

I have had no trouble staying logged in. I always check the box, to stay logged in. Even when I turn my computer off at night and get on the next morning I am still logged in. If it had anything to do with the number of post you have done; the RedTopLady would be able to stay logged in and she falls off the log also. So I guess it is all about balance.

Internet explorer logs me out every time I change pages. Firefox keeps me logged in all the time.

Maybe you are being given time outs?

Like the poster said above, use firefox. Actually, you all should be using fire fox anyway. Way better and safer. IE is done.

I used FireFox a while and was not happy with it. Just how is it way better and what makes it safer?

What makes "Google Chrome" better than "FireFox"?
