This Fishes Mouth was as BIG as a Five Gallon Bucket it was SIX AND A HALF Foot Long and Two Men Carried on a Ladder as a Gurney and used a Come a Long to Lift it into Tree. no way for Him to way it. Our Guess Was Eighty to Ninty LBS. Maybe More ??? Ya'll Talk Like as if He was Standing Back by the House. LOL When in Fact He Was about Eighteen inches Back. Hope Ya Catch One Like it Some Day !!!  FISH ON (Boat Load was here)

It's pretty easy to tell there are NO "photo hijinks" going on here. In fact, I'll bet he actually has his left hand on the fish to keep it from turning since when you put that kind of weight on braided rope, it'll twist for sure. My first guess was maybe 70-75 lbs. Great fish!!

FISH ON (Boat Load was here) I'm not trying to be a jerk, but unless your friend weighs about 65 lbs, by the picture and your description of this fish that is outlined in red above, this fish would weigh a hell of a lot more than 80-90 lbs. But hey, I wasn't there, so I don't know. But I'm not handing my money over on this one

  Here's a link for estimating weight from Missouri. http://mdc.mo.gov/fishing/fishing-how-tos/catfishing/catfish-weight-chart Chart stops at 58", for 95lbs. Based on the chart, the fish add 4.2lbs per inch. That makes this little fish 155.5lbs. Considering the US record is 123lbs, wonder why we haven't seen this on the news. And caught from Cedar Creek lake to boot. I know, he had a big fish fry that night and ate it before anyone could verify the weight.

I'll bet my crappie boat, that fish will barely go 50lbs at best.
I saw an 82 lber that came from the Trinity, and don't think it was over 4 feet.
6 1/2 feet??!! ...yea right...

I guess this was just "C"atch, "P"hoto, but no "R"elease. Poor fish. I would release that bad boy back after I photo it. But still great catch!
