this has to do with Fishing, hope its ok to post here. Apparently they are meeting to discuss the possible restriction of motorized watercraft on the lake, or at least obtaining the right to add further restrictions.

That might be good and bad! I imagine you'll still be able to use a trolling motor, but not the big engine. And that'll FOR SURE put a bee in the pleasure boater's bonnet! This might get interesting...... Who knows what's about to go down.....

It's fairly common for GRBA to restrict boating on all the river lakes. Lake Wood has had all boats banned for periods over the last few years. Some after floods, and some during holiday weekends.

This won't go over well with the locals for sure! Some lakes ban outboards, and allow trolling motors or low speed from outboards, but I've personally never seen a lake ban all boats and motors! But that's just me!

I used to live in the southwest Ohio area and there were Hp restricted lakes,no motor lakes( paddles or oars only) and then there were electric motor only lakes as well. I have both a front mounted TM and a stern TM and a 5 hp gas for low hp gas engines restriction lakes. If you are prepared for all the restrictions you were on lakes where the catching was wayy above normal due to folks choice to avoid those lakes for whatever reasons. Never been on a no farting lake I'd probably be banned like Frank Reardon is from Kayak
