Do you guys prefer the smaller or bigger one? I have never really thrown them much, but seems you Texan's rave about them. I've a smaller one that seems like a good bait, but I throw a vixen most of the time.

The one I have has red plactic on the hook just below the barb. Are they all like this? Not sure if I should try to remove it.

Just looked this up for the first time. What makes this lure better than a standard Pop-R? What color is the best?

The red is there as an attractant ... mimmics a wounded baitfish! thumb

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it !

Okay...that seems to be answered, now what about the flutter spoon? What size, color etc? These seem to be two lures Im hearing the most about these days. Also, how is the flutter spoon fished?

I prefer to throw the 3rd medium sized one, the MAGNUM YM. They stopped making it, becuause no one was buhying any. I bought the last 15 that they had. Only 2 colors, golden shiner and alewife. Both good colors. I gave away 8 of them to friends and told them to throw it on rope, because there ain't no more. Other than that, I like the smaller one, just like fouzman, it catches big fish, too. Any color you have confidence in. Hope this helps. OH, I still have 6 and lost 1 to a hawg on 20# test on Big Sam. Got in the grass.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
