I hit a spillway yesterday and scratched my transducer up bad. None of the scratches are real deep but deep enough that it won't work right. I'm thinking about sanding it or filling it with epoxy or somthig has anybody ever tried this any help is apreciated.

You could sand it smooth so long as you don't get too deep and expose the crystal element. That said, I doubt the scratches you speak of would cause the transducer not to "work right". There's a good chance you damaged something internally and the only fix for that is a new transducer.
