I fish around generation: 1 hour before generation, during generation, and couple of hours after generation. That's the hottest time of the day. I hardly ever fish in the early morning. I just don't want to get up so early. I assume you fish early morning or late moon.its so hot

I need help with rod selection. I was looking at the veritas 7'11" and the 7'6" vendetta they are both heavy. Would they be any good? I want something for distance and prefer split grip. But I can not find anything bigger than 7'11" any help will be greatly apprectiated

this rod is awesome! It's very light, you can cast all day long, and don't feel tired. You can cast miles away with little effort. I need help with rod selection.
