Mo, Let me try it.By the way nice fish!!! Tell us the story . It has something to do with the filename.I'll get it done soon. It was the numbers included in the filename. This site does not like numbers in the filename for some reason.Numbers will put spaces in the filename when posted here. thnkx Skeeter- what was I doing wrong? Any way the fish was caught 45 miles out of Biloxi MS. Caught it on a live sand trout. the fish were suspended about 65 ft deep in over 100 ft of water. This was two days after christmas this year. 29 lbs. My lady hooked this fish and was afraid she was going to be pulled in. Being the gentleman I am, I took over the rod. However the 2nd rod bowed over at about that time and she had to fight another fish that was only slight smaller than this one. thanks MO

The hat was a gift from my son( he graduated last may from UT) The fish really did not take that long to land. It made a couple of short runs towards the bottom, but once I had it headed for the surface it was over.
The long fight was the next day when my lady caught a 40 inch redfish on 8lb test. (that took her an hour to land) MO

The snapper had to go back, a real shame. In federal waters, Snapper season closes from end of oct to first of april or something like that. We went out of Gulfport, the Chandeleurs are southwest, we headed southsoutheast. We could just see the lighthouse on the east end of the islands. All the Chandeleurs are in Louisana waters, and our guide did not have a Louisana guide license. ( Would cost him $2000. as a MS resident.) The snapper were the most impressive fish, but the most fun were the bluefish. I used my abu 5500 with 15lbtest and a prism jigging spoon. I had a ball until they ate all the spoons. ( should have rigged a wire leader) I thought bluefish were a mid to north atlantic species, but they are common on these rigs and on east to florida. I've never caught them in texas waters. MO
