Hey guys. I'm sure this has been discussed before. I am looking for a cheap battery to run only the aerator in my center console for maybe 2-3 days max. And also one that I can charge w/ my MinnKota 3 bank onboard charger. Do I need to go with a regular Marine/Car Battery or can I use a lawn mower or deer feeder batt or something else? Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

Any 12V battery will work. Run time will be limited by the reserve capacity. A lawnmower battery will run the pump but a good deep cycle will run it much longer.

Thanks MrG. I kinda got a quick education on batteries & amps per hour (APH) by an engineer here on the forum. He was very helpful. Appreciate the response.
