Enjoyed the boat show today, everyone caught fish including several kids. Some of the sandies were so big, I thought they were hybrids at first. 17 boats shared the large school that stayed up for a good little while. LL is still producing. I even caught 2 big mouths at dawn.

I kept trying to stay on the perimeter of the boat show since I have no trolling motor, but some times got hemmed in. I caught fish but not nearly as big or many as last week.

Last weekend, I spent so much time going around people that it wasn't even funny. Conversely, I had many boats cut me off - one boat, in particular, 5 times. 5 times this one boat cut me off. Stupid pontoon boat with older couple in it. Or, I should say, stupid older couple in a pontoon boat. I'm sure the boat didn't decide where to go.

I have no problem with Pontoon boats however If you have a pontoon boat Plese get and use a trolling motor. Please do not use your big motor and drive through fish! Be respectful of your fellow anglers.

Smart to get out during the week and join the smaller boat show... Here is a picture of the weekend boat show from last Saturday on Lewisville around 9:30am... This boat show had around 60 boats in it (including myself)! Top water action was actually only sporadic that morning, but the fish including hybrids could still be caught...

That picture brings back memories of the community gathering inside Hell's Gate at PK. Although that crowd was after a different kind of catch!

We were in that one too. Had a few blast through. Funny thing is..every boat that I saw blast in or through, had a trolling motor. They just weren't using it.

Nice pic WB. my boat was somewhere in that mess for a little while. We got tired of catching sandies so we went after some hybrids and launched some of those big AZZ spoons i bought from Super Duck.....
We have absolutely been whoopin the hybrids on LL right now with those spoons. Boated over thirty in the last week.

I dont have a trolling motor on my pontoon, thats why I just stay away from all you professional anglers.....
There's just to much water out there
