Carp or Buffalo ?

My son caught this last week, is it a Carp or Buffalo, and how can we tell the difference for next time? ty 
PB - 35# Blue Catfish Alexx PB - 7 lbs. Blue Catfish As far as Paul is concerned, he is my Bro. Lay off him. All is good. I might be in, just to hang with Paul. Sounds like a party.

Buffalo are more of a silverish color without barbels on their mouth. Carp are a more golden or bronze color with barbels or "whiskers" on the mouth

Buffalo are more of a silverish color without barbels on their mouth. Carp are a more golden or bronze color with barbels or "whiskers" on the mouth  great job on the fish. family fishing is the best
