I was fishing Joe Pool this last sunday afternoon minding my own business on a point near the state park. I found a brush pile with my side imaging unit 2 weeks before. I found it just idling points looking for schools of fish, saw it and turned around marked it. Sunday i went out and pulled up on it made 3 or 4 cast and directly a nitro Z9 comes hauling but right at me and shuts her down about 100 yards away then proceeded with his trolling motor about 15 yards from my boat. I asked if there was a reason why he had the whole lake and needed to be in my lap. He cracked a beer and said he was just going to fish the brush he had sank about a month ago i was sitting on. I said well if you give me about 30 minutes you can have it. He mumbled something under his breath picked up a rod and threw his bait over my line and said i sank it and i'll fish it when i want to. Lets just say i got heated, I tried to snag his bait with mine so i could cut it off, but his line was over mine. We exchanged a couple words and i fnally had enough, i fired up my boat and made 2 circles around his and went on. I dont give a [censored] who sinks the damn brush if I find it Im going to fish it! Am i in the rong here?

Brush piles = Dumping on public property. It's illegal.

You should have asked for his ID so you could have turned him in for operating under the influence. You would have plenty of time to fish that pile, at least until he paid the court costs and could afford to get his boat out and gas it up again.
