Has Academy quit carrying Lowriders? They don't have any at either store west of Fort Worth.

Bought one at Bryant-Irving about two months ago - but there were only two or three there then.

Maybe one of the Academy guys can chime in with reasons but..

McKinney alwasy has Lowriders and Cara's, West Plano never has either, East Plano has them once every other blue moon if it's the fifth Tuesday of the month. I understand why an Academy in Galveston has different inventory than a north texas one but not sure why stores in the same general aren't the same.

Not complaining...I love me some Academy, can't wait for the Frisco store to come out of the ground...just curious about the differences.

Academy has different products in Fort Worth than Galveston, because Galveston is more geared to salt water. We just might have been out of them the days you came in, because they sell pretty well.

Saw Duckette Rods in Academy the other day, they all had stikers on the handles that said made in China. What's up with that?

Boys....and lady fisherpersons, Academy is under new ownership. The fishing department as we have known it is on the way out of Academy.

Its all about sales per square foot to professional retailers.

I sure hope it doesn't suck to bad. I really don't want to resort to bps. Guess il have to visit dicks and the tff trading post more often.
