Here are some crappie that we caught this weekend at my parents. These were caught before noon. Total of 66 crappie.




Also killed this sow Sunday morning on the way to check the hog trap. She was with another pig and about 10 little ones.

Nice mess of fish and looks like bacon is in your future! Do you guys have a pond or lake on your property? I've always wondered if you can manage a body of water for crappie.

It is a stock tank that when it is full it is about 30ft deep. Right now it is 19ft deep. We have probably taken around 700 crappie out of it in the last 5 yrs. It also has perch catfish and bass. As far as managing it we keep alot of fish each year. I think you just have to be smart as far as what you keep and throw back.

Here is a pich when it is almost full. Probably 7 or 8 yrs ago.

Nice place. Looks like the yotes are feast on some piglets. Good looking crappie.
