Got an 05 Nitro 901 CDX with 200 HP Opti. 3 blade 24P Tempest Plus prop. Motor/prop height is 3 1/4" on a fixed 12" Slidemaster jackplate. All weight with exception of tackle is positioned aft of driver/passenger seats.

Boat nose porpoises (up/down) at low speeds regardless of trim position.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
T-Bird

My boat does it with too much weight in the back of the boat.

alot of Nitro's are notorious for that.

the 24 tempest is also known for that because the tips lay back. (not sufficient cup to hold it).

Fixes:
1. Send the tempest to Steve...by far the best fix.
2. Trade for a trophy.
3. Install negative trim wedges.
4. speed up.

That boat loaded is absolutely prone to bounce, because of a lot of reasons, but the biggest, your prop can't carry the load, and falls on it's face.
