I have a 2000 Cobra 201 with a 225 Merc EFI. It doesn't have any prop plugs. Would they help? What size should I buy and should I change them depending on the season/weather? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The plugs purpose is to be able to fine tune the hole shot by letting air get on the leading edge of the blade (cavitate). You may need to have some plugs in the prop during cooler weather to prevent blow out.

Gary is right.
hot weather means you either drop pitch or pull the plugs to vent the prop.
cooler air requires less venting.
they do not effect mid range or topend at all. only the holeshot.
