Went out yesterday with Capt. Murphy's charters. It was a beautiful day (other than the slight fog in the morning), less than 5 mph winds, and a slight overcast keeping our temps very comfortable for the entire trip. It took us a little than 2 hours to get to our first spot. My first cast landed a 30lb warsaw grouper!! Very nice fish and a fun fight. There were 4 total in our party and we ended up with 11 snapper and 1 grouper between us. I highly recommend Capt. Murphy and his crew if you guys ever consider an offshore trip. Where did you pull out from? Port Isabel or Port Mansfield??
Great haul of fish! Did you rent the boat out just for the 4 of you or were there others on the boat also? I've been wanting to go out with Capt. Murphy charters.

We left from Port Isabel, I think they only leave from Pt. Mansfield during the winter months through spring break. There were probably around 20 people on the boat, but I didn't really feel crowded at all. Below are some of the other catches from our same trip.
