 First Trip to Live Oak Lake..

Joined forum today and got some good info from 'Banker' and fished Live Oak lake for a few hours this evening..6 to 8:30 or so. Pan fish started biting decent about 7, using night crawlers. Since I've never fished the lake before, I didn't venture too far from the parking lot, but saw several spots that looked good for blue gill/sunfish. Snapped a few pics of some that I caught and will post as soon as I figure out how to add images. Released all safely back into the water to grow some more.

 To the Texas Fishing Forum. Glad to have you on board. You have picked a super section to post in. The anglers here are simply the best.  Thanks for sharing your report on Live Oak Lake. The fish seem to be active there.  That Lake can also be difficult to fish.  Looking forward to more of your reports and seeing some of your catches.

To the Texas Fishing Forum. Glad to have you on board. Great to hear that you made it out to Live Oak Lake. That lake does have some nice fish and it can be very difficult to fish at times. Glad to hear that you located and caught some fish. Looking forward to seeing some future catches and reading more of your postings.
