Very slow day on the water this morning. Not sure if it was the cloud cover or what shut em down but it was definitely something. Here's the highlight of the day we'll see everybody at it again tomorrow

Nice fish Paul, I was out there yesterday morning 7-10 and it was sloooww. Marked fish every where but not many players. Talked to a couple of guys pulling out at Harbour Bay ramp as I was putting in a 7AM, they had a pontoon boat and coolers of limits. They said they had anchored under highway bridge all night and it was hot fishing untill 6:30 then shut off like a light.

I believe that! Just looked at the dam report at they're releasing 31 CFS of water. Maybe that did it?

That is a nice fish and you are right, it has been slow. We were out yesterday evening till 8:30, finding fish was easy getting them to bite was something else.

Thanks for the report Bombay. We found them them surfacing at a couple of spots. But they did not hang around for very long. The large number of boat around didnt help much. Despite that, we managed to boat about 30 fish before calling it a day. See you on the water tomorrow.

Sorry everyone had a bad morning, but it makes me feel better. Started out by myself from Harbor Bay at 6:15 just south of the I-30 bridge, marked fish but nothing. Moved to Robertson flat (east side), marked fish but nothing, peanut, same. Red Barn, gravel pit, burned tressal, Terry point, iron horse, back to Robertson flats west side, one last pass by the I-30 bridge and back to HB. I marked LOTS of fish but nothing to show for four hours of fishing. My wife said it was a good thing my grandson wasnt with me. He would have really given me what-for.
I dropped and threw everything Moe sells. SSS, Godfather, Fiesta, Peekwi Chieftain, Sassy Shad, Coca Moe. They werent hitting anything.
I saw lots of boats moving and very little catching. Bombay came by Robertson, didnt stop, and headed for the bridge. I figured he had his limit.
Im batching this week-end so I may try again in the morning. Im new to lake and fishing in general but Ive never been shutout like today.
Anyone else going, let me know.
