Not likely any of you will know him, but Ray McGath, my 93 year-old grandfather and one of my true heroes that taught me to fish and took me on float trips on the rivers in Southeast Missouri every summer suffered a massive stroke yesterday. He is not expected to survive the night. He has been my fishing buddy for 42 years and he could use all the prayers he could get from the fishing brotherhood.
