I have met a few people off of TFF/BG each with varying tastes of gear and levels of equipment.

Not including bait, how much do you spend on fishing each year? Poles, rods, lures and 65k bass boats included.

I usually spend around $500.00 a year on fishing tackle which does not include gas on trips or snacks and drinks.



Side Note: I keep my Sunfish fishing very simple!

I get a lot of free stuff however I usually will spend roughly around $500.00 a year on tackle.

Probably a G or 2 on tackle and what not a year. As far as rods and reels, I'm only really replacing stuff that breaks at this point. It's mostly lures, lines, tackle, canoe stuff and cabin/camping $.

I fish for Bass and Channels most of the time. I would easily spend at least a $1000.00 a year.

I have spent much more this year than usual. This stuff adds up quick.
Ive dropped a few hundred since jan.

I refuse to say as it would result in an immediate assault with bodily injury. So I will just lie and say I spend about $12 a month LOL. Aquatic Ash spends about $3 a month...maybe lol

About 248.88, give or take a couple hundred. I rarely pay full price for what I buy. Thus my tribute to academy with the .88 cent ending.

I spend over $1k a year easily, and thats not counting the 2 yaks and a trailer I bought this year. But I also sell/trade off old stuff or stuff I did not like all that much.

I know, right? I buy $.88 stuff from Academy on the regular. Other places have "bargin bins" too. Gander Mountain has Mountains of bargin stuff in the summer. BPS don't have as many deals as they used to. Cabelas still has them, but the merch isn't as good on a consistant basis.

I once spent $100 on bargin panfish stuff at Gander Mountain. Walked out with 3+ bags full. Most of it was used on a family trip. Everyone had a blast and the quality was great. Mostly Southern Pro & GM house brand panfish plastics.

I have a serious addiction to new fishing equipment. I may like the equipment more than the fishing itself. I try to get the wife to buy me all the big stuff like new rods and reels for birthdays, Christmas, anniversary, but I still spend at least $50 every month. Tacklewarehouse.com has all the coolest bass stuff, and I get sucked in by free shipping on orders over $50. Hell, all it takes is 3 lucky craft lures and you hit that mark.

Have started buying musky equipment too since I've been making trips up north to see family. That stuff ain't cheap.

I am guessing at the moment we are probably over $2k for the year. In reality it's probably double that since Kent goes insane at fishing stores.

Since getting into fishing lasy may, ive probablu spent alnost $1500. But that includes buy all my rods and reels, boat accessories, weights, hooks, fishing chairs... ill probably stay under $500 this year, since ive got all my stuff now.

Boy does that sound familiar! I think I may actually have a t-shirt that says how miserably I falied at that endeavor!
