Think its a cc-5-17MH (7' MH) with a Shimano citica DSV...it has a watermelon fluke tied on which I think was actually marti grais (purple and gold flake). It is probably somewhere around Bird Island on the 154 bridge side...3 weekends ago I pretty much sank my Gambler or filled it up with water and road the waves and trolling motor to the Island to get out of lightning ... I lost it in all the crazyness going on and figured I'd at least see if someone found it...

I made a bad decision tying up to the bridge trying to take shelter from the lightning and took on water before I could untie..cranked big motor tried to go down bridge taking shelter from lightning and taking waves from the side... the water shifted to the back and drowned the motor...after that it just took waves over stern and filled up... rod fell in the water somewhere during the "3 hour tour"..

I threw one with an a rig tied on in the mouth of Chaney this morning. Double whammy.

That was my second...the first was at fork too...During the Elliotts tourney when it snowed 4"...netted my partners fish tangled some [censored] up..went back to fishing and then said wheres my trap rod...hell I had the cast still out when we netted his fish, the boat drifted and drug it out of the boat...grabbed a wiggle wart and started fishing for my rod/line.. caught it that time!

Sorry to hear about that! I know the feeling. I lost a Steez combo at Falcon last month. I guess if the water level keeps dropping I may be able to get it in a few months!

Lost a Abu STX and Kistler rod during JC Tournament. Proceeded to win the tournament to pay for a new set up. Sucked ... But also cool.

Well, maybe.
