Did full float again this time with 2 gents from Mountain Sports and Armadillomojo. Once again fishing was slower on front 2miles but after Coon creek we did good. Very very clear water this time. One of the best holes had a big ol 7lbs plus LMB that was spooked and would not bite ( I tried!!) also TONS of catfish and monster carp, I mean submarines! 11hr float in 100 degree heat can't stop crazy yak anglers!! great float great company.

i ended up the day with 3 channels, totaling 19 lbs. had another get wrapped around a submerged log and naturally he got off. then it was a chore trying to get my jug line free. tons of channel cats down there. the hotter it gets the better the catfishing gets too

It would be at Dick's Place 8 miles down. Its right at the first bridge you come to ,can't miss it. He can port or you can park 1 vehicle there.

What has been working best lure wise? I havent done this float in years. But i remember small crankbaits and spinners workin pretty good most of the time

Good deal I will make sure I still have some flukes in my bag before I head out saturday mornin. I had planned on taking some soft plastics and some jigs to imitate the crawfish, that section of river is plum full of those big red dudes
