I like throwing 10 inch lake fork worms, I seem to catch bigger fish on them, but if they will hit the Rojas that is always my favorite.

how are yall able to get those topwater bites? I fished this morning and ive noticed on a few lakes they're all so deep! I hate fishing that 25+ feet... C-rig and Football jigs aren't producing for me. I don't think that I'm able to find fish though.. even though the electronics says we're right on it

Starting off topwater and shallow fishing early. Moving to deeper edges and fishing jigs later in the day. Maybe shakey head transition areas midmorning to try to find some that moved up early to feed and are backing into deeper water.

Humps and ledges with Deep cranks, or a brush hog on a heavy texas rig.

Deep cranks & C-rigs on deep structure with cover. If I'm not getting hung up, I'm not fishing.

My favorite is a Spro Frog early and late in the day, but when the sun is higher I rely on Deep diving Cranks, Carolina Rigged Brush Hog, 10 inch Texas Rigged worm, or Shakey Head in clearer water.

Word. I've had a lot of success this summer with just that- Flipping and cranking.
