ive had awesome luck at brandy branch in the winter fishing jerkbaits down the bank line towards the damn working them pretty quick you can see some nice fish follow it from 10 yards away and just kill the bait lots of quality fish in this lake just make sure they dont do a shut down of the plant before you go it absolutly kills the bite

Both lakes are very good and easy to catch fish on. They are small and you could fish a large portion of the lake in a day. I have fished both several times out of a boat with only a trolling motor and have always done well. Usually throwing a tx rig senko.

I would not go to Brandy Branch unless I had to. Martin Creek is the better choice for numbers and size right now. I have had luck with a shakey head... Bring a friend to help launch your boat as the lake is about 5' low and you will get wet getting out of your truck. When leaving the Ramp stay close to the right hand bank (Island) until you get to deeper water Most the stumps you need to worry about are showing themselves so running the lake is not that hard right now. Good Luck
