How has the bite been for stripers on Texoma lately? Any reports?

bite has been good!

Top water,slabs,swim baits or live shad..everything working right now.
Yesterday got a 40 fish limit all on top water plugs..small chug bugs.

Lots of fish literally all over the lake.. Best bite has been down along the rocks by Eisenhower, around soldier creek and the cross and along the west wall south of Alberta creek..
Been to each of those spots the last two weeks and good fish everywhere .

Got a new spot to try out today out west..looks like it may be good and far far away from the crowds in those other spots

I finally got some time off and my wife is taking me on a trip with JD next Monday the 16th with a stay in his cabins. I can't wait. Been trying to get up there for a long time. Taking my boat to fish as well but don't know what lures to get. I see JD said chug bugs but what color? Also, what are swim baits (sassy shad?). I am just looking for what normally works or people would recommend. I haven't striper fished in a while so am out of the loop (and don't know Texoma at all!). Also how big are the slabs people normally use?

Use Jd's baits. Never seen a guide that does'nt supply tackle which he does.

I did not make myself clear. I am going to fish on my own Saturday and Sunday but don't know what to buy. We will use JD's on Monday I am sure.

Silver blue back or get silver and chartruese or one with chart. on it. Spooks are working very well and a spittin image is working to. Had two guys today that caught a bunch of top water fish. We caught them until almost 10:00 on top waters. Had chances at several big fish that would knock the spook 4 or 5 feet in the air this happend several times right at the boat and saw the fish was a very fun day.
