I have a little 46lb 12volt motor guide....I blew the inline 50 amp fuse one day after about 20 sec of trolling...got home replaced the fuse, tested, for a few seconds on high powere....all is good! Went to the lake and pushed the button and nothing! Wired direct and all was good for a little bit then it slowly lost power like the battery was dead...but it wasn't. I know after blowing 2 fuses it wasn't smart or safe but I was in the zone and have a pretty good size extinguisher and decent insurance if that failed....anyway, planning on getting another, but what do y'all think went wrong?

Sounds like a short in your cable...use the meter to amp it out.

Actually I'm glad I saw this! It would probably be me asking this same thing someday. This is why I love TFF.
