Good grief Keith! How do you keep up with a patch like that. Lots of really great salsa makings there. I love fried green tomatoes, and fresh home made salsa.

This is the year of the "mater" for sure. The local grower close to me that I buy vegetables from is overrun with 'em. I love them and have been in heaven this year, plenty of "maters" and the price just goes lower and lower since there are so many. Wish I were not out of bacon I would have a BLT right now.

I bet a CLT would be pretty tasty as well...CRAPPIE, LETTUCE, AND TOMATO. Nothing better than Fresh Garden Veggies that you grew...very yummy. I'm jealous. :-)

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. Why can't I grow tomatoes like that! Mind telling me what kind they are? Any tips? I think he fertilizes with crappie remains...  Didn't work for me. Buried the fish heads, and none of them ever came up. Well.........some of them did. The coons, or some other varmit, dug them up. Won't ever do that again, they dug up my potatoes also. Bad idea!!

Best crop I've ever grown as well. Everything I planted has really done well. So many maters I can't keep up picking them. I love to take a salt shaker out with me and eat till I'm stuffed then bring in all I can carry to snack on during the day. Found a new cherry tomatoe called 'sugar plum' and it is just what it is called...small like big grapes and sweet like sugar.
I am totally organic and it pays off big time. Just wish I had more room for more plants. Only problem...it takes away from fishing time! Have to suffer some for the beautiful tomatoes.
