I don't what happened. Got to the lake at 6:40am. Launched the boat. Scout around the lake. No schools, no surface feeding...left at 11am. I got skunk!! Few days back I was tired of catch and release. Today I couldn't get a bite to save my life. And the wind did a good whipping on me too. There were lots of boat show at the main lake, but no one was catching at all. Anyone here had better luck then I was?

I always put that on a Full Moon. They were probably stuffed full from feeding last night. We fished Tawok today and it was the same. Slim pickins. Lots of stuff on the graph, but very few bites.

We (30 boats) found them at the west end of the dam and then they moved north to Lake Park, caught fish from 0830 to 1030.

I partook in that incredible catching frenzy going on at the west end of the dam also. i have never seen schooling action like that before. it was solid from the dam although out to midlake towards twin trees for 2-1/2 hours. Loaded up for a weekend fish fry and turned loose a 24" hybrid to boot.

I too was out there. I had a hard time early as well. I think every fish in the lake was in that Lake Park school. HUGE school of fish!

488Tx, did you have a hybrid on and have it get off? I think I was fishing next to you in the Key West. I pulled two hybrids for the grill and split.

Biggest schools I've seen in a long time at far west end of the damn on July 4th an I didn't have a rod with me (taking out friends/family for tubing). 200 yard wide school tearing up the top. NO ROD!! Ugh!
