My sprinkler system is not working on none of the zones. I hear a clicking noise in the grass, but none of the sprinkler heads are coming up. I get power on the panel, so I have no clue what is going on. Please help!!

Sounds like a break in the wire somewhere. Do you have a master valve out by the backflow?

What is the name of the controller. Look at the wiring and see if it is wired for a master valve or pump. The master valve will be very close to the Water shut off. Take a screw driver and poke around and see if you can locate it. If you do manually turn it on and see if the other zones will come on.

In the past i have Seen Raindial controller do this. Not enough voltage to keep solenoid open thus the clicking you hear. Take the power wires and try jumping the controller. Take 1 wire and place it on the Valve common. Then take the second power wire and put it on any valve or station wire. If they come on go to Lowe's and Buy a Orbit indoor outdoor controller and install it. Do not buy any other as you will find they are less than good.

Me too. Usually after being struck by lighting or some type of power surge.

First off, I don't [censored] about a sprinkler system, so when you guys use terminolgy like controller and master valve, I am clueless. I did look at the panel and noticed a red wire connected to the MV/Pump. I assume MV stands for master valve. I did find a green box in the yard near the main water shutoff point. The brand of the controller is Raindial.

I have 5 zones connected. There is a wire on each zone 1-5. When you say "wire 1", are you talking about the wire on zone 1?

Is it black,,,,, and while looking down at the solenoid the piece with the wire does it look like a stop sign.. Try this turn the solenoid about a 1/4 to 1/2 turn and see if any zone will come on with the timer then. If so you have found the problem. If theirs been no digging in the yard then it probably just a solenoid. Easy fix.

I found out where the clicking noise was coming from. I took off a small circular green cap and turned the the little knob on top a 1/4 turn top while the clicking noise was on. Nothing happened, it did sound the sprinklers head wanted to come up, but they didn't.

So the controller a Raindial,,Then try this, turn it to any zone and try and turn that zone on, if the numbers blink or scroll after you tried to start it go get the new timer i suggested.

If you did that to the one closet to the water meter, try turning it a little further. If it pops out just turn the meter off and put back in. Also when you do that turn the timer/controller on one zone any will do and see if it works then.
