IMO, The old lake, Lake Jacksboro, has better quality fish.

We do not speak of these lakes on the open forum ......on a serious note Cynic is right. old side will have better quality and fewer bites but new side will have a lot more bites but a msaller average size. Word to the wise on teh new side DO NOT RUN WFO UNLESS YOU KNOW THIS LAKE!!!!!!!!...it will fool you and go from 40' to 1' and back to 40' in 25yds or so. Once you idle around you can get a good idea of how it lays out. Lots of rock and timber. Both lakes have good ramps.

Dad and I went this morning. Caught one small fish on the new side. We moved over to the old side(south) and caught three more. Biggest was 4.7 lbs. Caught him using a pumpkin green Lake Fork craw tube. This is becoming my favorite bait to throw. Enjoyable morning.
