This is my pet snake Joker just before he shed. It always looks cool when his eyes turn blue.  And here is his shed

I want one!! thats a cool snake He's a Suriname Red-Tail Boa. I've had him since he was less than a year old. He was about 22" long when I got him. He's dog tame too. Never bit or struck at me.

He will top out at maybe 7 feet. Maybe 15-20 pounds or so. Not too big that I would need another person to handle him. Red tail boas are good beginners snakes, better than ball pythons in my opinion. I've had both and the ball pythons can be a pain in the butt. Sometimes they wont eat, sometimes they shed in patches, etc. I've never had a problem with Joker.
