 trolling motor repair help....

ok so I have a 65lbs minn kota and when trying to move it shallower today I shattered the bottom half of the plastic head unit. I took it apart and I think I can fix it no problem, I just need the bottom half of the plastic head piece? (i can post pics if anybody needs beter explanation... where do I get parts? and has anybody done it before?
surely somebody had smashed a head unit before... I have all the parts didn't lose anything just need that bottom piece

I stopped there last week and they were open but had very few parts in stock. Of course they didn't have the TD mount I needed.

I have made that repair a few times and it is pretty simple. There are a lot of places to get the parts you need on line. You will need the brand, model, and serial# to get the right part.

I did the exact same thing about 2 months ago. I called John below. He took my order over the phone and shipped me the part the very next day. I believe it was $7 plus shipping. The repair took about a half hour. http://www.jonestrollingmotor.com/

As well as the direction arrow kit and sticker
All in stock on the shelf for cheap!
