Got to Harbor bay a little later than I wanted 6:20 AM and put the boat in. Called the dynamic duo ( Terry and Ray ) and they were already fishing . So I headed over to meet them in the flats in front of the big hotel and we started fishing for sand bass. They were doing pretty good ( they always do --LOL-- ) and I managed 2 sandies and two drum.. Met some new folks in the same area. Mark and Kyle in one boat and Brad and tony in the other. Nice to meet you guys Also finally got to meet Jeff Yafee. Pleasure meeting you after all this time. Also got to see Pat ( Fillet maker it was good to see you again So we stayed there for a little while trying to hammer out some sandies.

After that we head for the bridge. Just as we all got there terry and Jeff saw some big shad jumping out of the water and we knew it was about to be on. So we were seeing who was going to be first and with a little luck I WAS FIRST!! LOL I hooked a 5 or 6 pounder the one shown in Jeff's post of me holding on for dear life.I will go ahead and post it again --LOL--



Then Terry and ray and every one else that was there was hooking up with hybrids. Terry was using a Big Kahuna spoon from www.moestackleshop.com and I was using the 2 ounce god Father slab from Moes tackle shop. Ray was switching back and forth between the two . But we caught a bunch of hybrids. Between terry, Ray and I we grabbed 11 or twelve and Terry had the most because they were loving the big spoon a lot better than everything else. Well all this died down at about 9:30 AM and everyone scattered. So Terry Ray and I went looking and ended up over at the Rodney King bouy. I knew we shouldn't have renamed that thing Because IT IS GONE ---LOL--. but I put three 14 inch sandies in the live well to eat tonight. The wind picked up something awful 4 foot waves so we said that was it for today. So they left and I tried the spot form this morning with no avail and called it a day. Too much WIND for me. Terry ,Ray good to fish with you guys again. Jeff , Pat same for you too. We will see you all again soon. Heck of a day out there this morning and what a four day weekend I had. I caught Hybrids on every day I went fishing. Ready for the next trip. The big weekend coming up and I already can't wait --LOL

I knew I forget some things --LOL-- I saw Capt Larry and his crew out there also. Good to see you Capt. And the most important thing I forgot was the three 14 +/- inch fish for that dang rabbit --LOL--

Great report Keith and good job everyone. I missed a great morning to be on the lake. Can't wait to get back out here. Seems like its switching between early and late every other day. I need to change up my timing. Hopefully Tuesday evening will be a great one.

Nice going fellas! I went out around 2:00 today. Caught a few hybrids and a few sandbass. Nothing spectacular. Winds and potential weather ran me off.

I'm off all week. Let's fish!

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! I'm stuck workin all day while everyone else is on the fish!!!! Dang!!!!!! Good job y'all! I'll be out there Tuesday allllll day.... Let's hope they're still around!!

Great report Keith! Spoke to Terry earlier and sounds like you all had some fun. I'll hopefully see you this next week when I'm free from the pager shackle at work! Ran down to the dock just now and lots of people were running in from the storm. Talked to Rockwall Roy for awhile. I think he was going to wait it out and go back out. Cooled done from the storm... Very nice fish everybody! We made the mistake of coming out around 3:30 and quickly got ran off

Had family in town so couldnt fish this weekend, but only work two days this week and try to catch some of those fun, fiesty hybrids soon!!

Wow, some very nice fish posted up here. My wife and I was in the same area Thursday afternoon and the big hybrids showed up. Non stop action. We can see that Summer has truly settled in!

We were catching some fish. Then the rain came in. We went back out and hit all the hot spots. They were there and nibbled a few times but that was it. Going out at 6:30 with rubin. We'll kill em tomorrow!!!
