Is the dipsy diver the best thing to use to get you lure down to deeper depths if u dont have downriggers. And if so how easy to use it and how would u rig it up. Im going to be using it on calveras for reds an stripers

I've seen a hellbinder used. U take the hooks off, put a 3/4 oz weight on the front and tie your line to the back with a swivel. At the end of the line put your lure of choice. Good luck
