Wow! The big fish are still running in circles on the lake. I visited with a couple of guys today that I fished next to yesterday and we both were hanging the big ones. They were using live baits and I was using TNT slabs and everyone had big smiles and sore arms.
Unlike yesterday, I only had a couple of big sandies, but ended up with 12 really nice hybrids and 2 stripers, all released.
Unfortunately my booking this morning didn't make it due to a bad case of food poisioning, but I'll get him rescheduled for a trip soon. Feel better soon Mark, until then, this is what you missed...
The fish are still hanging around near the slopes in 8 to 14 feet of water. The bite started at 7:40ish on the spot I was on and was non-stop steady until 9.
There was a young boy named Hunter that was fishing with his dad next to me and I thought his arms were gonna fall off fighting those hybrids in!
If you get the chance, get on the water! I currently have a few openings available.
